Swedish Meatball Pasta

IMG_3925Today I made a recipe from Tasty for the first time!

First I combined ground chicken, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper and rolled it into meatballs. Those cooked in canola oil for a couple of minutes before I added chicken broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. I brought that to a boil and then added egg noodles. Those cooked until the liquid reduced into a sauce and cooked the pasta. Then I added parmesan and mixed it in. I skipped mixing in the parsley because I bought chervil parsley which is a type of French parsley and I didn’t love its flavor. I did top it with a bit though for aesthetic purposes. But to be honest I removed it after I took the picture. I think regular parsley would have given this just a tiny bit extra but it was still really tasty. I also made a side of balsamic brussels sprouts with it. The flavor profiles didn’t totally go together but they were each good on their own.
